The Madison Zahorsky Studio Blog
Voice lessons, piano lessons, music lessons, life lessons. What to expect from a music studio
My name is Madison Zahorsky and I am the Founder and Head Teacher of The Madison Zahorsky Studio (though that was probably obvious!). I created this music studio to forge a link between those who want a genuine connection with their teacher and teachers who focus on life-long learning. Whether you are a total beginner who want's to find out what you're capable of, or a current industry professional ready to improve your career, you have come to the right place.

What to expect from a music studio
First and foremost, you do NOT need a be a current student to be a part of this community
My mission is to bridge the gap between all sorts of invested-in-music-people. You might be considering lessons, you might be a diligent parent trying to find the best option for your kid, or maybe a passionate lover of music who wants to find out what is going on 'on the other side'. Whatever brought you here is the RIGHT thing, so let's build on it!
You can expect quite a lot
Except consistency... Let's be honest, myself and my fellow teachers/musicians are juggling a LOT. Schedules, performances, students, PR, contracts, and having a bite to eat once in a while too. That being said, this blog is a place where genuine opinions and varied opinions are welcome. If you aren't finding what you were hoping to learn, drop a line and it will be in the next blog.
Overall, we will be taking some deep dives into what is really going on with music and performance in this decade. How-to's for practice and improvement, taxes for independent contractors and singers, and advice on how to deal with allergy season (please no throat-coat..) are all going to be right here. We will also have interviews with parents and supporters to talk about HOW to best support the artists in your life.
So Welcome One and ALL
Time to get this train rolling and see where we go!
So leave a comment, suggestion, critique, or joke below, and find out what learning music (and life) is all about.
